We had our elopement party in June at UMPH and absolutely everyone had a blast! Everyone has been nonstop raving about the food, the venue, and the staff. Everything was well thought out and our event with without any issues. We're so thankful for the entire staff and for Niko and Mary for making sure our day was perfect!

We had such a great experience at Union Mills! The food was excellent, and the space is absolutely gorgeous. Niko and Mary were very attentive leading up to the wedding. I especially appreciated that on the day of the wedding my aunt, who was recovering from a leg surgery, was given special care from Mary who even went around the venue to find something she could prop her foot up on. We had about 140 guests and I would say it was a tight fit with all of them plus a small dance floor and sweetheart table, but we did opt for 8 chairs at tables rather than 9 to make it less squeezed. Also loved the getting ready space upstairs, a great space to leave our stuff throughout the wedding, and for any friends and family who needed a break during the wedding. Overall, a great experience!

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Union Mills Public House for the past three years, hosting events for our clients, and they continue to impress us every single time. The food is consistently exceptional, the staff is incredibly easy to work with, and the level of service makes the entire process seamless from start to finish. As a design and event partner, that reliability and professionalism means everything. We continue to return year after year because the overall experience is truly fantastic — for both us and our clients. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a venue that delivers on both quality and experience.

Our experience at Union Mills was truly exceptional. Our guests absolutely loved the venue, and we received countless compliments on the food. Everyone raved about what they ate and the pizza was a complete hit! Our guests felt well-fed the entire night and are still talking about the pizza. The mocktail was also a favorite, people couldn’t stop talking about it. Mary and Niko were incredibly kind and attentive throughout the entire planning process. They addressed all of our concerns with patience and care, and worked closely with us to create a menu that was exactly what we wanted for our guests. Niko went above and beyond by crafting a menu that incorporated items inspired by restaurants we love to visit, as well as dishes that reflected our culture. That personal touch made everything even more special and brought so much joy to our guests. The staff at Union Mills was amazing as well. They treated my bridal party so well and were attentive to every detail. We are so happy we chose this venue! Our wedding was an absolute hit, and it wouldn’t have been the same without the Union Mills team. Highly recommend! 10/10

Niko & Mary were wonderful to work with. They truly made our dream wedding come to life. They were attentive - always answering our questions and making sure everything ran as smoothly as possible. Food: Booking with Union Mills gave us the freedom to create the food experience we truly wanted. We went with a Filipino-inspired menu that combined many of our favorite dishes, and Niko was incredibly knowledgeable about different cultural cuisines. He offered wonderful selections and made the process so enjoyable. The pizza options were endless and allowed us to get creative as well! Drinks: The drinks were out of this world. We loved the variety of drink and beer options they provided. We really appreciated that they went the extra mile to source specific beers we requested — even getting one of our favorites on tap just for us! Location: The location of Union Mills is unbeatable. Its walkability to downtown Frederick and nearby bars was one of the main reasons we chose it. Since many of our guests were traveling from out of state or even out of the country, we wanted them to experience the true charm of Frederick, Maryland.
